Abrecco wish to recruit a Condition Monitoring Engineer on behalf of our Client to operate and manage a Condition Monitoring programme for one or more customers,
both onshore and offshore, applying various Condition Monitoring techniques.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Knowledge of different types of transducer used for vibration data collection
e.g. accelerometers, velocity transducers, non contact proximity probes etc.
Main Duties
Set up vibration monitoring databases. Collection of vibration data from rotating machinery according to defined schedule. Analysis of vibration data in order to diagnose machinery defects. Provide appropriate maintenance recommendations for equipment in exception. Set up lube oil Analysis programme. Collection of oil samples from plant according to the defined schedule. Liaison with Oil Analysis Laboratory. Analysis of lube oil*grease sample results in order to diagnose equipment defects.
